Multiple School-Based LPN Positions – Allentown, Pennsylvania We’re hiring multiple Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for an exciting contract opportunity in Allentown, Pennsylvania! This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic K-12 school district, providing essential healthcare support to students. Responsibilities: • Provide 1:1 care for students, including supporting a male high school student with a medical device attached to his heart. • Assist with bus transportation duties, including pick-up and drop-off. • Float between different schools within the district as caseloads change. • Work closely with other school staff and medical professionals, including attending training sessions with the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. • Maintain student health and safety, respond to emergencies, and assist with general health needs. Qualifications: • Current PA LPN Certificate required. • Comfortable working with a diverse K-12 caseload. • Must be open to bus riding and 1:1 student support. • Ability to float between schools as needed. • Experience with medical devices is a plus, but training will be provided. Position Details: • Classroom: K-12 • Hours per Week: Full-Time, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (flexible based on caseload and bus schedule) • Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience. • Benefits: Comprehensive package including Dental, Medical, Vision, and 401K plan. • Contract Duration: January 6 – June 11, 2025, with potential for extension. • Special Requirements: Two training sessions at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia are required before starting. • Bus Transportation: Pick-up at 6:37 AM, drop-off at 2:57 PM. • Interview Process: Conducted via Zoom for convenience.
