Job Title: Salesforce Architect (GSA Clearance Required) Duration: 3 Months Role Hours: 40 Hours / week 100% Remote. Interview: Virtual. Position Overview Value Technology is seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions within a GSA/Federal environment. This role requires deep technical expertise across Salesforce platforms, strong solution design capabilities, and experience operating within federal compliance and security frameworks. The ideal candidate will possess active GSA clearance and demonstrate proven success delivering secure, scalable Salesforce solutions for public sector clients. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred). • 8+ years of Salesforce experience, with at least 3+ years in an Architect or Lead role. • Active GSA clearance Salesforce Certified: • Application Architect or System Architect (preferred) • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II • Additional certifications such as Integration Architect or Sharing & Visibility Architect highly preferred. • Strong experience working in Federal/Public Sector Salesforce implementations. Core Responsibilities: Architecture & Design • Lead end-to-end Salesforce architecture strategy across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud. • Design scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise solutions aligned with federal compliance requirements. • Define system architecture, integration patterns, and data models. • Establish architectural governance and best practices across development teams. Federal Compliance & Security Ensure solutions comply with federal standards such as: • FedRAMP • FISMA • NIST frameworks • GSA IT security policies • Architect secure data models, sharing rules, encryption strategies, and role hierarchies. • Implement enterprise-grade identity management (SSO, MFA, OAuth, SAML). Development Oversight Provide technical leadership across: • Apex • Lightning Web Components (LWC) • Aura Components • Visualforce (legacy modernization where required) • Review and approve code to ensure scalability and maintainability. • Establish CI/CD standards using Salesforce DX and DevOps pipelines. Integration & Data Architecture Design and oversee Salesforce integrations using: • REST/SOAP APIs • Middleware (e.g., MuleSoft or equivalent) • External data services • Architect complex data migration strategies using Metadata API and XML structures. • Ensure high data integrity through optimized triggers, batch jobs, and asynchronous processing. • Define enterprise data governance strategy and data lifecycle management. DevOps & Deployment Strategy • Lead Salesforce DX implementation for source-driven development. • Design metadata deployment frameworks across multiple environments. • Oversee CI/CD automation and release governance. • Manage sandbox strategy, packaging strategy, and environment management. Key Technical Expertise Deep expertise in: • Apex (enterprise design patterns) • Lightning Web Components (LWC) • Salesforce Metadata API & XML structure • Salesforce DX • CI/CD pipelines (Git-based version control) Strong understanding of: • Relational database architecture • Data modeling best practices • SOQL & SQL optimization Proven experience designing: • High-volume data environments • Multi-org or multi-cloud Salesforce ecosystems • Complex sharing and security models • Hands-on experience with large-scale metadata migrations across environments. • Experience integrating Salesforce with federal systems and external enterprise platforms.
