Position Overview - Benetrends Financial is seeking a Retirement Plan Analyst – Total Administration (401(k)) to manage day-to-day administration and compliance for a portfolio of retirement plan clients. This role serves as the primary client contact and ensures accurate, timely, and compliant plan administration while delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities - Serve as the main point of contact for assigned 401(k) clients - Perform full-scope retirement plan administration, including contributions, loans, distributions, hardships, QDROs, and compliance testing - Support Form 5500 preparation and ensure adherence to plan deadlines and regulations - Research and resolve operational and regulatory compliance issues - Communicate complex regulatory requirements in a clear, client-friendly manner - Maintain accurate workflow and documentation in Pension Pro systems - Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to resolve issues - Stay current on retirement plan laws and regulations Qualifications - ASPPA credential(s) or willingness to obtain - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience - Working knowledge of 401(k) plan administration and IRS regulations - Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Excellent customer service, written, and verbal communication skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Work Schedule & Environment - Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm (occasional evenings/weekends as needed) - Fully remote; secure home office required - Must live in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, MD, MI, MA, NC, NY, NJ, OH, PA, SC, TX, UT Benefits - Competitive compensation - Medical, dental, and vision coverage - Generous PTO, paid holidays, and floating holidays - Fully remote work environment - Professional development opportunities - Supportive, collaborative team culture
