Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Ohio. This full-time position offers competitive hourly pay and the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities:
? Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities
? Provide direct instruction, accommodations, and modifications to meet the educational needs of students
? Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure students’ success
? Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
? Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and documentation
? Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and other school-related events
? Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth and independence
Requirements:
? Bachelor’s degree in Special Education (Master’s preferred)
? Ohio teaching certification/license in Special Education
? Experience working with students with a variety of disabilities (e.g., autism, learning disabilities, emotional disturbances)
? Strong communication and organizational skills
? Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators, parents, and support staff
? Passion for working with students and helping them achieve their fullest potential
Compensation & Benefits:
