Position Title: Remote Sign Language Interpreter (SLI)
Location: Burnside, KY
Position Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: 30-38/hr based on experience

Responsibilities:
? Performing American Sign Language to a High School student
? Facilitate communication between deaf/hard-of-hearing and hearing individuals
? Interpret spoken language into various forms of sign language and vice versa
? Adhere to professional code of ethics and maintain confidentiality
? Collaborate with other interpreters and professionals as needed
? Adapt interpreting style to match the linguistic needs of clients
Qualifications:
? Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) Score: 3.5-4.0 w/written
? NIC/RID certified candidate will be considered as well
? Bachelor’s degree in Sign Language Interpreting preferred and opened to getting out of state license
? Fluency in American Sign Language and English
