Part-Time Remote School Social Worker

Job Summary:
VocoVision is hiring a committed and empathetic Virtual School Social Worker. This part-time role requires 3 days a week and offers the chance to support students in emotional and autism support programs across various educational settings. The position involves providing social work services for high school students in a center-based program and supporting those in Pineapple Programs, REAL, and WASC initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities:
? Deliver virtual social work services to high school students (grades 9-12) in emotional and autism support programs (1.5 days at Tunkhannock Area School District).
? Provide counseling, emotional support, and interventions for students in Pineapple Programs, REAL, and WASC programs (1.5 days).
? Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to enhance student emotional well-being and academic achievement.
? Assist in developing and executing individualized support plans for students, focusing on emotional and behavioral challenges.
? Maintain comprehensive documentation of services and student progress.
? Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary.
Qualifications:
? Required: Pennsylvania School Social Worker Certification, or Emergency Certification (if applicable).
? Experience working with high school students in emotional support, autism support, or other special education settings.
? Strong communication, organizational, and virtual collaboration skills.
? Ability to begin work immediately.
Work Schedule:
? 3 days per week (1.5 days at one site for emotional and autism support, and 1.5 days at another site).
