They are seeking an Outbound Sales Representative to engage with potential customers through an automated phone system, verifying contacts and transferring qualified leads to Inbound Sales Specialists.
Responsibilities
- Work in an automated phone system that makes telephone calls to potential customers who respond to various ADT marketing and partner campaigns
- Engage with potential customers, verify each contact meets specified criteria, and transfer the qualified customer to an Inbound Sales Specialist
- Focused verbal communication
- Use pointed rebuttals to overcome objections
- Demonstrate empathy
- Update call status in the phone system
- Maintain availability to engage with potential customers
- Adhere to company compliance and quality standards
Skills
- Must reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming
- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic computer skills required
- Must complete and pass a pre-employment drug/background check
- Excellent communication skills
- Independent worker with experience in a commission-based environment
- Self-starter and motivated by personal goal achievement
- Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving abilities
- Strong listening skills used to conduct needs analysis
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Strong use of business vocabulary

- High-speed internet with min 50Mbps download/25Mbps upload speed and access to internet solely by ethernet cord
- Sales experience preferred
- Over-the-phone call center experience preferred
