[Remote] Help Desk Technician

They are seeking a Help Desk Technician to provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and assist users with hardware and software problems, primarily operating in a remote capacity. Responsibilities - Serve as the initial point of contact for users seeking technical assistance - Gather and analyze information about user issues to answer questions regarding installation, operation, configuration, customization, and usage of products - Provide technical support for hardware, systems, sub-systems, and applications - Assist users with navigating application menus and may be required to remote into customer’s computers - Troubleshoot network connectivity issues while working with remote employees Skills - Prior IT Service Desk operations experience - Active SECRET clearance - Current Comptia certification - Proficient with troubleshooting all Windows Operating systems - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve email issues, specifically MS Outlook - Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing - Telephone and listening skills - Outstanding customer skills, with the ability to empathize and professionally troubleshoot and resolve customer's issues - High School Diploma or equivalent - Must perform well as part of a team under direct supervision - Excellent written and verbal communications - Must have one of the following: Network+, A+ or Security+ Certification - Previous computer technical support - Understanding of Active Directory to unlock and reset passwords - Proficient knowledge and understanding of Service Desk software and hardware technologies Benefits - Full benefits package Company Overview - CALIBRE Systems, Inc.
