Project Manager - Product Development Process Management for E-Commerce Company

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to be responsible for establishing and driving timelines and resources to develop, manufacture, and get products to market quickly and efficiently.This critical role will manage timelines, resources, and cross-functional teams to ensure our small appliance products move from concept to market efficiently and successfully. The ideal candidate will bring manufacturing industry expertise, PMP certification, and a proven track record of delivering product development projects on time and within budget. Location: Remote (New Zealand, Australia, or Hawaii) Employment Type: Full-time Reports To: Senior Product Manager Key Responsibilities Establish and maintain project timelines with clear milestones and deliverables Track project progress and provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders Channel global information to local teams, act as conduit to support the business Proactively identify potential delays or bottlenecks and implement mitigation strategies Balance multiple concurrent projects while maintaining quality work Conduct regular project status meetings Coordinate with manufacturing partners to ensure smooth transition from prototype to production Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners Required Qualifications 5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing consumer goods PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred Demonstrated success in managing complex timelines and delivering projects on schedule Experience with consumer products or electromechanical products strongly preferred; background in air quality products, home appliances, or similar industries a plus Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and production workflows Expert proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Asana, Monday.com, or similar) Knowledge of product development Stage-Gate methodology Familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems preferred Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional team environments Detail-oriented with strong follow-through on commitments Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Adaptability and resilience in fast-paced, dynamic environments Must be located in New Zealand, Australia, or Hawaii to accommodate time zone coordination with global teams and manufacturing partners Must be fluent in English; Chinese fluency is a plus
