Payroll Manager – Mostly Remote for DMV Candidates
About the Company and Opportunity:
• Our client is well-known non-profit who has been around for almost 100 years!
• Due to vacancy, they are hiring a temporary Payroll Manager.
• Position is mostlyremote, candidates will have to go into the MD or DC office 1x per week.
• Pay: $38-40/hr depending on experience.
• Metro Accessible
• Duration: approx. 4-6 weeks
• Schedule: M-F, 8a-5p/9a-6p, 40 hour work week
Overview of the Payroll Manager role:
• Full-cycle payroll
• 5 companies payroll total employees 283
• Biweekly
• Multistate including NY, PA, DC, MD, VA, CA, etc.
• Payroll Reconciliations
• Ad hoc projects/reporting
Preferred Qualifications for the Payroll Manager:
• 5+ years of Payroll Manager experience
• ADP Workforce Now is a plus
• Non-profit experience is a plus
• Proficient in Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
