The N.C. Department of Information Technology serves as the Technology Center for the State of NC, providing essential technology services to state agencies and promoting broadband access. The Operations Analyst will be responsible for coordinating production control, planning processing time, and maintaining job control language (JCL) for efficient report delivery and production management. Responsibilities - Coordination of Production Control using analytical and problem resolving skills, including enforcing Production Control standards - Planning processing time and defining data needs with users and programmers through Zeke and recommending best output options for efficient delivery of reports - First line of contact for identifying potential production problems - Creating and maintaining JCL for processing and removing old datasets from Production Jobs that run through Zeke Skills - Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, computer science engineering or a closely related degree from an appropriately accredited institution - Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of experience in operations/systems work or closely related area - Associate degree in computer information technology, computer engineering technology or networking technology from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of experience in operations/systems work or closely related area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience - Demonstrated experience supporting ZEKE or JCL on the Mainframe - Demonstrated experience supporting Exporter on the Mainframe Company Overview - The N.C.
