The Overnight Clinician provides crisis assessment, intervention and stabilization clinical and case management services for children birth through age 17. The clinician will respond out in the community to provide crisis intervention services and safety planning. May work with emergency departments, inpatient units and congregate care providers to identify and coordinate crisis and diversionary planning for high needs youth in need of intensive community-based planning to prevent multiple admissions to such settings and otherwise promote to use of MCIS to coordinate intensive plans for high needs youth. SALARY Starting salary: $44,000 LOCATION Remote position, however, Clinician will have to go out into the community catchment area on an on-call basis. SCHEDULE Full-time overnight on-call position, hours will vary and be discussed in interview EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS Doctoral degree in Psychology or Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or Counseling. Licensure Requirements for Clinical Positions Must hold one of the following credentials: to start employment LMSW, LCSW, LMFTA, LMFT, LPCA, LPC or licensed or license-eligible Psychologist in the State of Connecticut. Valid Drivers License is required.
