Job Description: The High School English Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging English language arts instruction to students in grades 9-12. The ideal candidate will inspire students to appreciate literature, develop strong writing skills, and enhance their communication abilities. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement a comprehensive English curriculum aligned with state standards. • Create engaging lesson plans and instructional materials that cater to diverse learning needs. • Assess student performance through a variety of assignments, projects, and exams. • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation. • Guide students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills through literature and writing. • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and student achievement. • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education.
