We are seeking a skilled Medical Transcriptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of physiology, medical terminology, and anatomy. This position involves transcribing and typing medical reports for a busy medical office.
Duties…
– Listen to recorded dictations from healthcare professionals
– Transcribe and type medical reports, summaries, and patient histories
– Ensure accuracy of medical terminology, spelling, and grammar
– Edit transcribed documents for clarity and consistency
– Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
– Communicate with healthcare professionals to clarify dictation as needed
Experience:
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical transcription or recent education in the field
– Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
– Proficient in typing and using transcription software
– Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
