The Mechanical Piping Engineer will provide technical services and engineering support for piping and mechanical modules in nuclear power plants, focusing on design, analysis, and communication with customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop technical expertise in the design, construction, operation, and decommissioning of nuclear power plants with a focus on piping and pipe support design and analysis
- Work in teams to resolve critical issues affecting the construction and operation of nuclear power plants
- Develop business relationship with Westinghouse customers
- Develop and deliver technical presentations to communicate a variety of issues: project status, problem resolution, engineering recommendations
Skills
- May 2023 - 2026 Graduates with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Required
- Minimum 3.0 GPA Required
- Experience with Technical Design and Analysis
- Prior Internship experience
- Prior experience with Technical Engineering Projects or Research
- Engineering in Training Certification or desire to obtain with long-term goal of obtaining P.E
- Must value safety and quality
