Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Math Tutor to join our team at Mathnasium of Seal Beach! As a Math Tutor, you will play a vital role in creating an engaging and productive learning experience for students. Responsibilities: Provide exceptional instruction and tutoring services to students Establish a high level of confidence and program value with parents through positive interactions Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes Teach in-center or online using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices Assess students' progress throughout instructional sessions and collaborate with team members to deliver the best possible experience Evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework Support the maintenance of a clean and professional learning environment Assist with non-teaching/instructional tasks as needed Requirements: A passion for math and working with students Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I Ability to balance various ongoing tasks Energetic and confident personality Willingness to learn and be trained Benefits: Competitive salary ($16-$18 per hour) Part-time, flexible shifts (Sun 11-3pm, Mon-Thurs, 2pm-7pm) Growth opportunities Great culture Flexible hours How to Apply: Don't hesitate to apply if you're passionate about making a difference in students' lives!
