The Manager, Cloud, Infrastructure & Resiliency plays a pivotal role in shaping AFSC’s technology backbone, driving the strategy, modernization, and operational excellence of our cloud platforms, data centers, enterprise networks, telephony, and business continuity capabilities. As a key guardian of AFSC’s secure, reliable, and resilient technology foundation, this role oversees critical services such as virtualization, storage, backup, patch management, enterprise monitoring, and disaster recovery. You will lead strategic vendor partnerships, build a high-performing monitoring and infrastructure team, and champion proactive service reliability. Collaborating closely with Architecture, Operations, Development, Security, and Digital Product leaders, you’ll ensure AFSC’s infrastructure and resiliency roadmap aligns with corporate priorities and the Next Horizon Digital Strategy, enabling seamless internal operations and exceptional client-facing digital experiences.

What will you be responsible for?
- Provide strategic leadership for AFSC’s on‑premise, hybrid, and cloud infrastructure platforms (Azure, Microsoft 365), ensuring modernization, operational excellence, and alignment with enterprise technology priorities.
- Oversee core infrastructure services including network, Wi-Fi, WAN, telephony, data centers, servers, storage, and backup environments, ensuring availability, performance, and compliance.
- Establish and maintain robust resilience capabilities through disaster recovery, business continuity planning, enterprise monitoring, observability, and effective incident response.
- Drive lifecycle management and continuous improvement, including patching, upgrades, capacity planning, automation, configuration management, and cloud optimization.
- Lead, develop, and support a high-performing team of technical specialists and service partners, overseeing workforce planning, budgeting, vendor management, managed service partners, and fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align infrastructure services with business, application, and security needs; participate in governance forums; and lead engagement for DR testing, major incidents, and infrastructure change management.
What are we looking for from you?
- Deep understanding of cloud and infrastructure architecture, including hybrid environments (Azure, virtualization, Vmware, network, and storage).
- Strong knowledge of business continuity, disaster recovery, and enterprise monitoring best practices.
- Proven ability to manage complex vendor relationships and technology contracts, particularly with Microsoft and other major infrastructure providers.
- Expertise in network operations, server management, patch compliance, and automation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution and continuous improvement.
- Financial acumen with demonstrated experience managing large-scale technology budgets. FinOps experience considered an asset.

Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive IT infrastructure experience, with 5+ years in leadership roles.
- Proven experience managing cloud services, enterprise networks, or hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Certifications such as Azure Administrator/Architect, ITIL, CISSP, or Disaster Recovery Institute (DRI) certification preferred.
- Experience in financial services, government, or regulated environments considered an asset.
