We are hiring multiple substitute paraprofessionals to join our district in Los Angeles, CA! Our paras will be assisting our special education classrooms in 1:1 and classroom support based roles. Location: Los Angeles, CA Duration: ASAP - June 2025 Per Diem: Flexible schedule as needed Caseload: Assisting K-12 students in significant support needs programs Job Duties • Provide daily classroom assistance to students with special needs, supporting their academic, social, and behavioral development. • Collaborate with the classroom teacher to deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt materials to meet the needs of each student. • Assist students with daily care including toileting and diapering as needed. • Communicate effectively with support staff and lead teacher • Assess student needs and provide interventions to redirect behavior. • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages student growth and independence.
