Job responsibilities • Provide comprehensive financial planning and investment advisory services • Research and present financial and tax strategies • Partner with clients to fulfill on their retirement planning • Implement risk management and tax planning strategies • Make estate planning, Social Security, cash flow management and debt management recommendations • Manage & grow client relationships • Identify and cultivate new clients through your own connections and community • Empower clients to reach and exceed their goals • Contribute content ideas for marketing efforts with your financial planning knowledge and experience • Process client service forms • Demonstrate ownership of company needs and client processes • Demonstrate leadership in company meetings • Participate in business development and company initiatives • Maintain systems and processes to make sure you don’t “drop the ball” and finish tasks/projects to completion • Additional duties as required Skills & Traits Required • Comprehensive knowledge of topics related to financial planning • In-depth understanding of the securities industry, including investment products and services • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills - clear and concise • Strong interpersonal aptitude • Passionate about empowering women and helping clients grow their net worth • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Proficient with financial planning software (eMoney, Holistiplan) • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills • Superior client service standards • Extreme attention to detail • Manages projects to completion • Follows and builds company processes and procedures • Takes initiative - seeks out ways to improve the business, self, and client experiences. • Strong listening and problem solving skills • Continuous learner - coachable • Authentic and kind, yet can hold boundaries. • You treat others with dignity and respect. Education and Experience • 10 years of financial planning experience at a Registered Investment Advisory Firm (preferably with a firm who utilized Focus Partners as a TAMP) • Current CFP® professional • Series 65 license (or attainment within 90 days of start date) • (Preferred, but not required) $10M in assets with clients committed to you and the plans you built together that will follow you to HWM Things to Know • Full-time, remote position, working Pacific Time 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday • Compensation range: $110,000 - $140,000 • Quarterly profit-sharing opportunity • 401(k) program with employer matching • Health reimbursement plan • Paid vacation/sick time • You will work as part of a Diamond Team structure • Training provided. • Computer provided; reliable internet and phone required. • Possibility of travel 2-4 times a year • Standard background check required.
