What you will be doing:
Level 1
• Analyze customer requirements for system enhancements, integrations, and customizations and propose optimal, scalable, and secure technical solutions, and prepare high level estimates
• Develop software design and requirement specifications, technical solutions, test cases, test data, and error handling related to ERP integration with third party applications and ERP customizations, preferably with QAD ERP
• Design and implement integrations using integration technologies such as REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML and other web services or cloud-based solutions, and middleware tools (e.g. Boomi, Fuuz)
• Document integration processes and maintain technical standards
• Manage data mapping, cleansing, transformation, and migration during ERP implementations
• Execute the project within the budget while ensuring quality deliverables and customer satisfaction
• Deliver technical support to clients utilizing critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
• Manage assigned support tickets, including timely follow up and resolution of issues, updating status and time consumed as necessary
• Developing and maintaining customer relationships and delivering billable technical consulting services
• Develop and maintain customer relationships and deliver billable development consulting services in the areas of system enhancements, integrations, configuration, and customization.
• Eagerness to learn and stay abreast of modern technologies and integration platforms utilizing web-services or other middleware such as Boomi, Fuuz, or other technologies
Level 2
• See Essential Functions for Level 1, plus:
• Possess in-depth knowledge and firsthand experience with QAD technology architecture, QAD ERP non-intrusive customizations
• Experience with designing and developing system integrations using Application Programming Interfaces (API) technologies for custom interface design, development, optimization, and troubleshooting
• Advanced skills can mentor others and manage complex tasks. Delves into more technical aspects, handling configurations, intermediate troubleshooting, and scripting. Provide training to clients.
Minimum Qualifications:
Level 1
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science with a minimum of 0-5 years’ experience as a Software Engineer or related technical role
Level 2
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science with a minimum of 5-10 years’ experience as a Software Engineer or related technical role
All levels:
• Required education level with working experience
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Meticulous with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Dedicated to maintaining high standards, delivering high-quality work with exceptional results
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present analysis and findings in both verbal and written formats to all levels of management and size of group
• Organized and dependable with the ability to prioritize; comfortable juggling multiple requests with follow‑through
• Demonstrates discretion and sound judgment in handling sensitive information and system access details
• Willingness and ability to learn modern technologies for enterprise level interfaces to apps/ERPs and follow structured procedures
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment

Level 1
• Linux or Unix related Operating System
• File Transfer Protocol (FTP/SFTP)
• QAD or other ERP experience
• Qxtend, Boomi, or Fuuz integration platforms
• XML, Java, JavaScript (typescript), JSONata, and other data formats
• HTML5
• Containerization and software packaging
Level 2

Work Environment:
This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, Regular Business hours, with some afterhours work as business needs require.

Little to no travel is expected for this position.
