The compensation for this role is a competitive salary, reflecting our commitment to attracting the best.   About the position The MSC Lending Advisor I/II at Apple Federal Credit Union serves as a sales and service ambassador, assisting members with consumer loan applications and providing guidance on financial products and services. This role emphasizes building member relationships, achieving sales targets, and ensuring a positive member experience through effective communication and support in an omni-channel environment. Responsibilities  Receive phone calls from members wanting to apply for a loan or have questions regarding an existing loan. ,  Act as a trusted lending advisor and utilize integrity with every sale and service in all interactions with members and potential members. ,  Establish and develop member relationships through an omni-channel environment and maintain the members' best interests. ,  Qualify members for appropriate products and services. ,  Seek to close sales of lending products and services that are beneficial to both the member and the Credit Union in accordance with sales expectations and goals. ,  Achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and other contact and sales goals. ,  Process member loans by phone, including interviewing and qualifying loan applicants, reviewing credit bureau reports, preparing loan documentation, and inputting information into the computer. ,  Explain all documentation and procedures accurately to members. ,  Follow up with members as appropriate. ,  Assist members with opening and closing accounts, including loan products, and notify members of denied loan requests. ,  Work with other lending support areas to assist members with basic loan servicing questions and needs. ,  Prepare analytical reports in MS Excel for management summarizing leads and applications generated through member contact activities. ,  Effectively communicate results and concerns with supervisor through one-on-one meetings. ,  Attend required lending trainings and refreshers. Requirements  Minimum two years financial institution and/or call center experience preferred. ,  Previous lending or member/customer service experience preferred. ,  Previous sales experience strongly preferred. ,  High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required; Associate's degree preferred. ,  Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
