Job Summary As a Member Services Representative, you'll be the face of Planet Fitness, providing exceptional customer service to our members, prospective members, and guests. You'll be responsible for handling front desk activities, responding to member inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greet members, prospective members, and guests with a warm and welcoming attitude, providing exceptional customer service. Handle front desk activities, including: Answering phones and assisting callers with a variety of questions. Checking members into the system. Facilitating new member sign-ups. Conducting tours for prospective members. Updating member accounts as needed. Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues to Assistant Managers or Managers as needed. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the club. Qualifications and Requirements Customer service background preferred. Basic computer proficiency. A passion for fitness and health. Upbeat and positive attitude. Punctuality and reliability are essential. Exceptional customer service skills. Strong listening and problem-solving skills. Diplomacy and professionalism in all interactions. High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Must be 18 years of age or older. Physical Demands Continual standing and walking during shifts. Frequent talking in person or on the phone. Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. May be exposed to toxic chemicals during shifts.
