Job description IOU Strategic Solution Architect  Function The Strategic Solution Architect plays a pivotal role in driving Itineris’ expansion into the North American investor owned utility (IOU) market. This role blends deep industry expertise and sales cycle leadership to shape winning solution strategies and accelerate sales opportunities. What is UMAX? UMAX integrates CRM, billing, invoicing, cash collection, meter data, asset and service management modules in one solution, offering utilities the tools & processes for effective sales, increased customer contribution margins, reduced lead times and streamlined operations. By doing so, it enables them to take operational performance and customer experience to higher levels, while cutting costs to serve. As a Strategic Solution Architect, you… will be a trusted advisor and solution strategist, shaping how Itineris positions and delivers UMAX to IOU Gas & Power utilities. Sales & Market Engagement •  Partner closely with the SVP of IOU Sales to pursue and win new opportunities across North America. •  Strengthen and tailor the UMAX value proposition for the IOU segment. •  Lead solution strategy for pursuits, ensuring a fit for purpose architecture aligned to IOU needs. •  Support the full sales cycle, from lead to contract win. Including RFIs, RFPs, deep dive demos, and executive briefings. •  Configure and customize UMAX environments for demonstrations that showcase differentiated value. •  Contribute to sales collateral, messaging, and competitive positioning. •  Represent Itineris at conferences, industry events, and speaking engagements. •  Engage with prospects to uncover needs, validate requirements, and shape solution direction. •  Align with partners (oa Microsoft , System Integrators, Solution providers) Product & Solution Leadership •  Provide industry driven insights to guide product roadmap decisions. •  Prioritize enhancements based on market demand, customer feedback, and competitive trends. •  Collaborate with product management and product development to influence solution design. •  Drive innovation that strengthens UMAX’s competitiveness in the IOU market. •  Provide expert opinion and recommendations for a proposed charge and enhancements to existing products, services and processes. •  Stay ahead of regulatory, operational, and technology trends shaping the IOU landscape. Our ideal candidate…… a dynamic team player with true problem-solving mentality liking to take initiatives and driven by quality. 100% customer-focused, you enjoy working in a fast-paced company and thrive in an ever-evolving environment. •  Deep SME experience in North American Gas & Power Investor-Owned Utilities. •  Strong understanding of the IOU commercial value chain and business processes. •  Strong understanding of the commercial offerings of an IOU Gas & Power is a must  •  Proven experience delivering or integrating CIS platforms in IOU environments. •  Background as a Solution Architect or similar role within Oracle CC&B/C2M/CCS or SAP IS U. •  Ability to influence cross functional teams and guide solution direction. •  Excellent communication skills and executive presence. •  Willingness to travel up to 50% based on sales cycle needs.
