The University of Chicago's Education Lab is seeking an experienced Implementation Manager to lead the evaluation of a large-scale tutoring intervention in partnership with the Chicago Public Schools. As an Implementation Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation of the program, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and driving project success. About the Role: Manage the implementation of a large-scale tutoring intervention in partnership with the Chicago Public Schools Build and maintain strong relationships with research partners, schools, community groups, and district offices Coordinate provision of services with partner schools and agencies, and serve as the primary point of contact for communication with the research team Monitor and assess implementation, ensuring rigor and quality, and provide updates and feedback on study progress to internal and external partners Communicate research information, project updates, and community feedback to policymakers, researchers, program providers, and other stakeholders Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., economics, public policy, social science, education, social work) 2-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a simple and straightforward way Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, work independently, and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working in low-income communities experiencing high rates of violence Experience working with or for organizations delivering social services to individuals living in disadvantaged communities Previous program management experience, including demonstrated success navigating various stakeholder interests Knowledge of urban policy, social policy, crime policy, and workforce development What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to work on a high-impact project making a difference in the lives of students and communities Collaborative and dynamic work environment Professional development opportunities Apply Now to join our team and make a meaningful impact!
