About Accial Capital
Accial Capital is an impact investment fund manager that provides asset-backed credit to fintech lenders in emerging markets. We support fintech lenders across Latin America and Asia that drive financial inclusion for underserved individuals and small businesses.
At Accial, impact goes beyond counting loans or reporting outputs. We are actively developing systems to measure financial wellbeing, borrower outcomes, and real-world change over time.
The Role
As a core member of Accial's impact team, you will lead the publication of industry-leading insights about financial inclusion. You’ll sit at the intersection of data, impact, and storytelling, helping us turn data into meaningful insights for investors, the industry, and ourselves.

This is a full-time summer Internship position with a preference for candidates who can start part-time (10-20 hours/week) in April 2026. Candidates can work remotely with flexible working hours. You will report to the VP of Risk and Head of Impact.
What You’ll Work On
Turn Data into Impact Insights
- Analyze portfolio and impact data to uncover insights and translate them into compelling, credible stories
- Produce white papers, blog posts, and case studies with our fintech partners and borrowers
- Explore themes like financial inclusion, borrower behavior, and lending dynamics in emerging markets
- Act as one of the pioneers shaping and launching Accial’s research & insights function
Investor Communications & External Presence
- Contribute to investor reports and newsletters
- Maintain and enhance our presence on key industry databases and platforms
- Support applications to industry awards and recognitions
Push the Boundaries of Impact Measurement
- Explore new ways to measure impact, focusing on financial wellbeing, outcome-based frameworks, and new tools and technologies
- Lead coordination of Impact surveys and data gathering to enhance our Impact Insights
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, International Studies, Public Policy, Statistics, Business, Finance, or a related field
- Preference for candidates currently completing a Master’s degree (MPP, MPA, MBA, or similar)
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong analytical mindset and working with data
- Clear, structured writing and communication skills
- Genuine interest in impact, fintech, or emerging markets
- Comfortable working independently and collaborating with stakeholders across time zones and geographies
- Experience with data tools (Excel, SQL, Python, BI tools, etc.)
- Familiarity with impact frameworks (IRIS+, SDGs, etc.)
- Curiosity about how technology can improve impact measurement
- Spanish language skills are a plus
