Job title: Substitute Teacher Company: Archdiocese of Chicago Job description : Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated. Implements the instructional plans prepared by the teacher. Maintains a safe classroom climate that is conducive to learning. Maintains reasonable rules of conduct that encourage self-discipline and responsibility. Guides the learning process toward the achievement of the curriculum and goals as determined in the instructional plans for the day. Other duties may be assigned. Subbing opportunities for grades PK-8 and Specials areas (Spanish, Music, Art, PE, STEM) Hours: 7:30 am - 3:30 pm SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Supervises classroom, students, lunchroom/rececss. NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor degree or higher.
