Position Overview: As a Remote School Psychologist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, providing counseling and intervention services, and collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support the holistic well-being of students. You will play a vital role in identifying learning and behavioral challenges, designing effective intervention plans, and promoting a positive and inclusive school environment.
Responsibilities:
? Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, emotional, and behavioral development.
? Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other specialists.
? Provide remote counseling and therapeutic interventions to students dealing with a variety of challenges.
? Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to address academic and behavioral concerns.
? Participate in virtual team meetings and case conferences to discuss student progress and strategies.
Qualifications:
? Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
? State licensure or certification in Illinoisas a School Psychologist.
? Experience as a school psychologist in a school setting is preferred.
? Proficient in using virtual communication and assessment tools.
? Strong communication and collaboration skills.
? Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
