Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is seeking a Financial Analyst to support their North America’s Expense Audit & Investigations team. The role involves maintaining processes and controls for employee expenses, conducting analytics to identify trends and risks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights. Responsibilities - Develop, enhance, and maintain data-driven products and workflows to automate and scale the review of $500m in annual T&E spend - Perform routine, detailed analytics to identify trends, risks, anomalies, and opportunities for improved controls and cost efficiency - Conduct targeted, forensic style analyses on employee T&E investigations with high-level proficiency - Strengthen controls and monitor processes across centralized programs to mitigate risk and improve compliance - Understand BCG’s policies and procedures to flag exceptions and recommend alternative actions - Translate analyses into clear, structured communication (e.g., slides, dashboard, and concise email summaries) to effectively inform stakeholders - Prepare time sensitive ad-hoc requests which may require collaboration across functions - Promote cooperation and foster teamwork to accomplish target deadlines Skills - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (or relevant business field) - 1-2 years of relevant work experience with analysis, reporting, and/or audit - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Business Objects or similar data query tool experience - Alteryx or similar data analysis tool experience - Tableau or similar data visualization tool experience - Proficient in Power Automate, Power Apps, and other automation tools - Familiar with AI process enablement - Dynamic and self-starting - Experience in process improvement and efficiency - Solid analytical ability with strong attention to detail - Ability to translate and present data meaningfully - Customer service-oriented behavior - Successful performance in a fast-paced, intellectually intense environment - Engages constructively with feedback - Respect all BCG information as personal and confidential Benefits - Zero dollar ($0) health insurance premiums for BCG employees, spouses, and children - Low $10 (USD) copays for trips to the doctor, urgent care visits and prescriptions for generic drugs - Dental coverage, including up to $5,000 in orthodontia benefits - Vision insurance with coverage for both glasses and contact lenses annually - Reimbursement for gym memberships and other fitness activities - Fully vested Profit Sharing Retirement Fund contributions made annually, whether you contribute or not, plus the option for employees to make personal contributions to a 401(k) plan - Paid Parental Leave and other family benefits such as elective egg freezing, surrogacy, and adoption reimbursement - Generous paid time off including 12 holidays per year, an annual office closure between Christmas and New Years, and 15 vacation days per year (earned at 1.25 days per month) - Paid sick time on an as needed basis Company Overview - Boston Consulting Group partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges and capture their greatest opportunities.
