As a key member of our data center operations team, you'll be responsible for maintaining the integrity and availability of our IT infrastructure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers, and you'll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with a talented team of professionals. **Key Responsibilities** As a Server Farm Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for: * **Maintaining a Culture of Health, Safety, and Compliance**: You'll be responsible for promoting a culture of health, safety, and compliance in all aspects of data center operations. * **Establishing and Improving Relationships**: You'll establish and improve relationships with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless collaboration and communication. * **Understanding Ticket Management**: You'll comprehend the overall ticket management cycle and ensure that all issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner. * **Performing Critical Tasks**: You'll perform critical tasks such as power cycles, part replacements, media handling, and troubleshooting to ensure the availability of our IT infrastructure. * **Setting Up and Testing Equipment**: You'll set up and test equipment, including link establishments, equipment rack/stack installations, and testing using standard data center processes. * **Supporting Equipment Moves**: You'll support the movement and racking of equipment, including servers, network switches, and storage devices. * **Collaborating with Inventory and Resource Teams**: You'll collaborate with inventory and resource teams to ensure the efficient transportation, receipt, and storage of equipment. * **Leading Through Change**: You'll lead through change by bringing clarity, creating energy, and delivering results. * **Evaluating and Prioritizing Work Requests**: You'll evaluate and prioritize work requests, provide planning details, and aid in the coordination of service delivery for data center tasks groups. * **Working Non-Traditional Hours**: You'll be flexible and willing to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and holidays, to ensure the availability of our IT infrastructure. **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * **Experience working with macOS, iPadOS, and Windows**: You'll have experience working with these operating systems and be able to troubleshoot and resolve issues. * **Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment**: You'll be able to work in a fast-paced environment, standing, walking, lifting, and working at heights. * **At Least 2 Years of Related IT Experience**: You'll have at least 2 years of experience in a related IT role, with a strong understanding of data center operations and IT infrastructure management. * **Technical Certifications**: You'll hold technical certifications such as ITF+, A+, Server+, BICSI Installer I, or have equivalent experience. * **Ability to Work in a Data Center Environment**: You'll be able to work in a data center environment, with temperatures ranging from 79°F to 105°F, and be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. * **Availability to Work Non-Traditional Hours**: You'll be available to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, to ensure the availability of our IT infrastructure. **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset: * **Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills**: You'll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external vendors. * **Ability to Work Independently**: You'll be able to work independently, with minimal supervision, and be able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. * **Knowledge of Health and Safety Procedures**: You'll have knowledge of health and safety procedures, including emergency response plans and equipment operation. * **Ability to Build Relationships**: You'll be able to build relationships with internal teams and external vendors, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication. **What We Offer** At arenaflex, we offer a competitive compensation package, including: * **Salary**: $35-$45 per hour * **Benefits**: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits, including medical, disability, and life insurance * **Paid Time Off**: Generous paid time off, including vacation, sick leave, and holidays * **Professional Development**: Opportunities for professional development, including training, education, and career advancement * **Work-Life Balance**: A commitment to work-life balance, with flexible scheduling and remote work options **How to Apply** If you're a motivated and experienced Server Farm Specialist looking for a new challenge, please submit your application, including your resume and a cover letter, to [arenaflex.com/careers](http://arenaflex.com/careers).
