**Key Responsibilities**
As a Ramp Agent, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, while ensuring timely connections by guiding incoming and departing aircraft from the gate positions.
* Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather conditions.
* Safely driving and operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion.
* Operating baggage scanners and computers to ensure baggage is routed accurately to the customer's destination.
* Maintaining a high level of safety awareness and adhering to all safety procedures and protocols.
**Work Environment and Scheduling**
As a Ramp Agent, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with varying shifts ranging from early morning to overnight. Each station is different based on its individual flight schedule, and you will work between 20 and 40 hours per week based on your seniority. You will be required to work in all types of weather conditions, including heat, rain, and snow.

**What You Need To Succeed**
To be successful as a Ramp Agent, you will need to:
* Consistently prioritize safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

* Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
* Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States.
* Have a valid driver's license.
* Proficiency in English.

* Must wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include, but not limited to: hearing protection, safety-toe footwear, protective headwear (bump cap or hard hat), and high visibility safety apparel subject to an approved accommodation, such as alternate PPE.
* Ability to hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal.
