We are passionate about empowering our customers to achieve their financial goals, and we are seeking a talented Loan Consultant II to join our team. **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced Loan Consultant II to provide exceptional customer experience while providing personal loan solutions. This role focuses on building a customer base through sales, loan extension, and merchant referrals. Success in this position will be based on the creation of customer experience, generation of business, compliance, attainment of monthly goals, and accuracy. **Major Duties/Responsibilities** As a Loan Consultant II at arenaflex, you will be responsible for: * Greeting, assisting, and soliciting individuals entering the office and calling by phone; receiving and processing credit and employment verifications, and recording information obtained. * Processing payments, distributions, and making recommendations regarding loan approvals. * Approving loans up to established lending limits and completing loan closings. * Handling account activities related to collection accounts, including phone calls and face-to-face communications with customers. * Preparing reports, correspondences, transaction documentation, and recording and filing documentation; operating a cash drawer, processing bank deposits, maintaining records and balances, and closing the branch. * Actively marketing all branch products and services to individuals. * Performing all other duties as assigned by management. **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need: * A High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. * 2-4 years of experience in consumer finance or a related field. * Cash handling, computer skills, and customer service skills. * The ability to work with minimum supervision. * Excellent communication skills. * Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word Applications. **Preferred/Desired Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: * An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree. * Bilingual, Spanish/English. **Compensation and Benefits** arenaflex offers a comprehensive benefits package, including: * A competitive salary range of $20.00 - $24.00 per hour, based on the specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and/or Experience of the selected candidate. * Quarterly Incentive compensation based on individual and company performance guidelines. * A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision benefits, paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k), life insurance, long-term disability, tuition assistance, and an employee assistance program. * Optional benefits, such as critical care, auto, home, and pet insurance, as well as other ancillary insurance options. **Work Environment** As a Loan Consultant II at arenaflex, you will work in a fast-paced, high-growth, team-oriented, and great culture environment.
