You'll receive a nationally recognized, portable credential to help you advance your career. **Responsibilities** As a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice, you'll be responsible for: * Assisting pharmacists in the exercise of pharmacy, under direct supervision, in accordance with national and federal regulations * Using pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information and process prescriptions * Assisting with and coaching pharmacy technicians in the operation of pharmacy systems and cashiers in the operation of the pharmacy cash registers * Modeling and providing a unique and delightful customer experience * Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and providing assistance with services and products * Resolving customer issues and answering inquiries to ensure a superior customer experience * Fostering and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to provide a unique and delightful customer experience * Developing strong relationships with our most valuable customers * Performing duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager, personnel Pharmacist, and store supervisor, including using pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug records, filling prescriptions, and verifying medication accuracy * Assisting pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work flow * Reporting prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adhering to company rules and procedures regarding pharmacy errors and the quality improvement program * Strictly adhering to the arenaflex Policy regarding accurate dispensing throughout all applicable prescription dispensing activities * Registering all related sales on assigned cash register, collecting and handling coins as required * Taking customers to the OTC aisle to assist in finding merchandise * Handling telephone calls that don't require the personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to physicians * Processing (correcting and resubmitting) claims for third-party prescription services in a timely and efficient manner, and performing other clerical responsibilities as assigned by the store manager * Assisting and supporting the Pharmacy department on stock management activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of prescription drugs * Keeping knowledge of company asset safety procedures and documenting claims for warehouse overages (merchandise received but not billed), shortages (merchandise billed but not obtained), order errors or broken goods related to Rx capsules * May assist pharmacists in administering medical services, including the collection and proper labeling of blood/urine samples from patients and other medical services as required; assists pharmacy staff in coordination of medical services, arenaflex healthcare clinics, and external vendors * Assists Pharmacy Manager and personnel Pharmacist in developing and maintaining strong relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers, through clinical provider detailing and outreach to healthcare agencies, retirement homes, nursing homes, and other forums for reinforcing growth opportunities * Assists with outdoor and indoor maintenance by ensuring the pharmacy department is stocked with sufficient supplies, clean, neat, and orderly in appearance and condition * Complies with all company guidelines and procedures;
