We're now seeking an experienced Full Stack Designer to join our team and help us deliver exceptional customer solutions and community engagement experiences. As a key member of our design team, you'll play a vital role in shaping the look and feel of our product and ensuring that our customers receive top-notch support and guidance.
**About the Job**
As a Full Stack Designer at arenaflex, you'll be a generalist who can do a bit of everything. You'll create mockups and implement design in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, working closely with our customers to implement custom themes and components for their communities. You'll also maintain theme additions and changes for long-term client sites, ensuring that our customers receive seamless support and guidance throughout their journey with us.
**Responsibilities**
* Work with enterprise clients (such as Unreal Engine, OpenAI, and Atlassian) on 16 and 40-hour customization packages, delivering high-quality design solutions that meet their unique needs and expectations.
* Collaborate with one or more Discourse Customer Success Managers to meet client needs and expectations, working together to decide on design-related priorities and ensure seamless execution.
* Maintain client-specific design requirements, ensuring that our customers receive tailored solutions that meet their unique needs and preferences.
* Implement large batches of design changes to existing client themes and theme components, ensuring that our customers receive timely and effective support.
* When busy, work on multiple ongoing customer projects, and during quieter times, develop new open-source themes for Discourse communities, contributing to the growth and success of our product.
* Lend a hand with support on our Meta forum and directly with customers via email, providing exceptional customer service and support.
**We're Looking for Someone Who**
* Has strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience in EmberJS or a similar JavaScript framework.
* Possesses excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interpret brand guidelines and implement design that conforms to them.
* Is familiar with building themes for Discourse, with experience in design software like Figma or Sketch.
* Is detail-oriented, proactive, and organized, with the ability to make decisions quickly and communicate effectively.
* Can work well independently and remotely, with a strong focus on execution and a belief in our mission to make the internet a better place.
* Is kind to their co-workers, with a high level of emotional intelligence and empathy.
