**Job Description:**
We're seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to lead the methodology and execution of incorporating new datasets that help drive investigation and information science for arenaflex's Client Experience Association. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for consolidating, organizing, and automating information collections from various sources, including contact centers, e-commerce, conditional, store networks, and functional sources. You'll also be responsible for sewing and relocating different client-related information sources into Google BigQuery, maintaining the data warehouse, planning and performing QA, and providing ad-hoc reporting.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* 50% Plan and develop powerful, user-friendly applications, reports, and dashboards using Business Intelligence (BI) tools like Microstrategy and SAS.
* 25% Collaborate with leaders to identify needs and gather requirements. Provide solutions by building tools, reports, and predictive models. Automate reporting on an as-needed basis.
* 25% Research and report best practices and standards for utilizing our BI tools. Provide insights on industry trends and recommendations for improvement.
**Direct Chief/Direct Reports:**
* Reports to Sr. Chief or Supervisor, Online Business Knowledge.
* No direct reports.
**Travel Requirements:**
* Occasionally requires temporary travel under 10% of the time.
**Actual Requirements:**
* Most time is spent sitting in a comfortable position, and there is frequent opportunity to move about. Occasionally, there may be a need to move or lift light objects.
**Working Conditions:**
* Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be inconsistent and not offensive.
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in a related field.
* Master's degree in SQL (ideally BigQuery).
* Strong knowledge of Python.
* Strong knowledge of Windstream.
* Related experience with data integration processes (the process of joining information collections from various sources and devices to gain deep insights into client behavior and journey, such as integrating data from call centers to client orders).
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Exhibits strong ability in translating business needs into technical specifics towards building BI solutions.
* Related experience in moving data on a regular basis from one stage to another.
* Related experience in exploring and analyzing organizational data to support factual analysis by the business.
* Earlier retail industry experience is preferred.
