**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
* **Interact with customers**: Provide information in response to inquiries about programs and services in a contact center.
* **Respond to customer inquiries**: Answer customer questions received by telephone, Interactive Voice Response (IVR), or web-based portal regarding information on programs and services.
* **Record customer interactions**: Document details of inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken.
* **Follow standard operating procedures**: Ensure consistency and accuracy in customer interactions.
* **Address customer inquiries and resolve problems**: Ensure that appropriate changes are made to resolve customer issues.
* **Refer unresolved customer grievances**: Refer unresolved customer complaints to designated departments for further investigation.
* **Communicate with supervisor**: Inform supervisor of any potential needs or concerns.
* **Navigate multiple computer systems**: Add appropriate documentation to computer systems while speaking with a customer.
* **Perform data entry accurately**: Ensure accurate data entry to maintain customer records.
**Minimum Requirements:**
* **High school diploma or GED**: Required for this position.
* **0-6 months of relevant professional experience**: Required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* **Program Specific Requirements**: High School diploma or equivalent, 6 months of customer service experience preferred, and must reside within 70 miles of El Paso, TX (Must live in Texas).
* **Home Office Requirements**: Reliable, high-speed internet service, minimum 20 Mbps download speeds, traditional, wired high-speed connection such as cable or fiber, quiet and distraction-free workspace, and Maximus will supply your computer equipment.
