**The Role**
As a Chat Operator at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in engaging with customers through online conversations, representing our automotive dealer clients favorably, and turning conversations into leads that drive revenue. Your goal will be to create a wow-ing experience for customers, leveraging your gaming experience and communication skills to build strong relationships and drive results.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Engage in online conversations with customers, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
* Represent arenaflex and our automotive dealer clients favorably, maintaining a positive and respectful tone throughout interactions
* Utilize your gaming experience to create a fun and engaging experience for customers, while also driving results and meeting performance metrics
* Collaborate with our team to develop and implement strategies for improving customer satisfaction and driving revenue growth
* Participate in regular training and development sessions to enhance your skills and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
**Requirements:**
* Must live within the state listed on the position posting (Wichita, KS)
* Must have your own computer or laptop with a webcam, second monitor, microphone, and external mouse
* Computer must have a minimum of 8 GB of RAM, 64-bit Operating System, and 8th Generation Intel Core (3 equivalent or higher)
* Quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions – this is a remote position
* Able to attend 4 weeks of remote training, Tuesday – Saturday between the hours of 11am-7:30pm EDT
* Must be able to type at least 35 WPM, 40 and above is preferred
* Gaming experience is preferred
**Essential Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (communications, marketing, etc.) preferred
* 1+ year of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in a call center or chat environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting performance metrics and deadlines
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience in the automotive industry or a related field
* Familiarity with CRM software and customer relationship management principles
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
* Experience with online chat platforms and customer engagement tools
