As an Airport Customer Service Agent, you'll be part of a supportive and collaborative team that's dedicated to delivering exceptional results. **Responsibilities** As an Airport Customer Service Agent, your primary responsibilities will include: * Assisting passengers with their baggage pick-up and resolving issues related to delayed, lost, or damaged items * Utilizing computer software to track and catalog luggage, ensuring seamless and efficient operations * Handling customer interactions with poise, professionalism, and a smile, providing first-class service to every passenger * Performing other related duties as assigned, leveraging your skills and experience to drive success * Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling items weighing up to 70 pounds, as well as repetitively lifting weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces **Essential Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * A high school diploma or equivalent * A valid in-state driver's license * The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and up to a 10-year background check * Authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986 * The ability to complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security * Physical stamina to carry heavy items up and down jetway stairs and be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications will make you an even stronger candidate: * Previous experience in customer-facing roles, particularly in the aviation industry * Familiarity with computer software and systems used in airport operations * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups * A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you'll need to possess: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling heavy items * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
