Position Overview: Lead and scale an India-based engineering team that operates, supports, and delivers enhancements for enterprise emerging technology platforms including AI/ML, automation, and digital agent portfolio. This role takes proven designs, frameworks, and POCs built by the US team and makes them production-ready at scale by hardening systems, managing releases, improving observability, running evaluation pipelines, and delivering predictable, high-quality outcomes in partnership with US leadership. This role is ideal for someone technically fluent enough to understand AI platform architecture and debug production issues, but whose core strength is building teams, running operations, and executing delivery across time zones.   Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager – Emerging Tech Platform Operations & Delivery to lead India-based platform operations and delivery execution for AI/ML, automation, and agentic workflows. You will build and manage a growing engineering team, own production operations (monitoring, incidents, SLAs), translate US priorities into sprint-ready plans, and ensure consistent delivery quality. You will also drive evaluation pipelines for AI agent output quality, maintain observability dashboards, and manage cost, governance, and security standards across the platform ecosystem.   Responsibilities: Team Build & People Leadership - Build and manage a growing India-based team of AI/ML engineers, automation engineers, and platform engineers. - Lead hiring, onboarding, mentoring, performance management, and retention. - Create a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. Production Operations & Reliability - Own production operations including monitoring, incident management, SLAs, on-call rotations, post-mortems, and runbooks. - Drive root-cause analysis and ensure preventive actions are implemented to reduce repeat incidents. - Improve platform stability, resilience, and performance across environments. Delivery Management & Execution - Receive architecture designs and priorities from the US team and translate them into sprint-ready work. - Run Agile ceremonies, manage backlog execution, track velocity, and own delivery metrics. - Coordinate releases and deployments; ensure predictable delivery with high quality. Evaluation Pipelines & Observability - Run evaluation pipelines that score AI agent outputs for accuracy, quality, and reliability. - Maintain observability dashboards for platform health, latency, failure patterns, and cost indicators. - Ensure feedback loops from evaluation results into platform improvements. US ↔ India Bridge & Stakeholder Management - Provide clear status updates, delivery forecasts, and risk flagging to US leadership. - Coordinate cross-time-zone execution to keep delivery aligned and transparent. - Drive clarity in priorities and ensure dependencies are tracked and resolved proactively. Platform Sustainment & Governance - Ensure the platform stack is sustainable and maintainable: orchestration frameworks, AI/ML pipelines, APIs, search indexing, prompt management, and storage lifecycles. - Track cloud and LLM spend; surface optimization opportunities and enforce governance standards. - Ensure security controls and enterprise compliance requirements are followed consistently. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. - 15+ years in software / AI/ML / automation platform delivery with strong engineering fundamentals. - 5+ years managing engineering teams in an offshore model (India team partnering with US leadership). - Technical fluency with cloud-native AI platforms including serverless compute, document intelligence/OCR, LLMs, embeddings, search, RAG patterns, API development, automation and agentic workflows. - Strong operational mindset with hands-on experience in monitoring, incident management, SLA tracking, and continuous improvement. - Strong delivery leadership: Agile execution, backlog translation, velocity tracking, and release coordination. - Proven capability to hire and scale teams in India’s competitive AI/ML talent market. - Excellent written and asynchronous communication, stakeholder reporting, and cross-geography coordination. Nice to Have - Azure-native experience (Azure Functions, Azure OpenAI, AI Search, Document Intelligence, App Insights). - Financial document AI exposure (leases, loans, rent rolls) and document processing platforms. - ML Ops / LLM Ops practices: evaluation frameworks, prompt versioning, cost monitoring, model/prompt lifecycle governance. - Experience working in regulated or enterprise governance environments.   Trimont is an equal opportunity employer, and we’re proud to support and celebrate diversity in the workplace.
