Job Title: Early Childhood Special Education Teacher (Self-Contained Classroom) Location: Euless, TX Position Type: Full-Time Grades: Early Childhood (Pre-K/K) Position Available: ASAP Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for a self-contained classroom. The ideal candidate will work with young children with special needs, providing individualized instruction, creating a nurturing environment, and helping students achieve developmental and academic goals. The teacher will work with a small group of children, providing personalized education services in a self-contained setting to support their unique learning needs. Qualifications: ? Valid Texas teaching certification in Early Childhood Education AND Special Education. ? Experience in early childhood special education or a similar setting is preferred. ? Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. ? Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to helping children reach their full potential. ? Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members and parents. Key Responsibilities: ? Provide individualized and small group instruction for young children with special needs in a self-contained classroom setting. ? Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for each student in collaboration with parents and other educational professionals. ? Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth. ? Monitor and assess students? progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed. ? Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support students' development and success. ? Maintain accurate records of student progress, IEPs, and other required documentation. ? Ensure a safe and nurturing classroom environment. Compensation: ?
