About the position The Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) in Recruiting Partnerships at Gartner is a strategic leadership role focused on enhancing diversity within the talent acquisition function. This position involves developing and managing global partnerships that promote DEI initiatives, ultimately contributing to a more representative organization. The director will collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to implement effective strategies and measure the impact of these partnerships on recruitment efforts. Responsibilities • Act as a thought leader and advocate for DEI in recruitment within the company and the broader community. , • Strengthen and execute the comprehensive DEI partnership strategy focused on talent acquisition. , • Collaborate with internal teams to align DEI partnerships with global talent acquisition goals and regional nuances. , • Identify, evaluate, cultivate, and maintain relationships with external partners supporting underrepresented groups. , • Plan and manage partner agreements to ensure mutual benefits and successful outcomes. , • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to operationalize and execute diversity activities as part of partnership agreements. , • Define and evaluate ROI and measures of success for DEI partnerships in talent acquisition. , • Represent the organization at DEI and recruitment events, conferences, and forums. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience. , • 8+ years of experience in program management, diversity and inclusion, and/or recruiting, with a focus on increasing representation (10+ years preferred). , • Ability to build and implement enterprise-wide and scalable programs and solutions. , • Ability to build influential relationships internally and externally while driving change. , • Demonstrated ability to drive results and impact by applying an equity lens to work. , • Experience working and co-creating with members of underrepresented groups. , • Experience in cross-functional collaboration both internally and externally. , • Experience in creating, cultivating, and managing partnerships. , • Strong communication skills. , • Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment. , • Consultative skills to innovate and help internal clients change their recruitment approach.
