The Demand Planner plays a critical role in driving accurate demand forecasts to support inventory, supply, and business planning. This position partners cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance to analyze trends, anticipate demand changes, and inform data-driven planning decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills and process discipline to improve forecast accuracy, optimize service levels, and balance inventory investment—supporting both operational efficiency and business growth. What you will be doing: • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts across products, categories, and regions using statistical tools, historical data, and commercial inputs • Analyze sales trends, seasonality, and product lifecycle dynamics to continuously improve forecast accuracy • Partner closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Product teams to incorporate promotions, market changes, and pipeline insights into demand plans • Identify demand risks, forecast variances, and required adjustments to proactively mitigate stockouts, excess inventory, and service disruptions • Support inventory and supply planning by highlighting high-demand, slow-moving, and at-risk items • Track forecast performance, identify bias, and recommend corrective actions to improve planning outcomes • Maintain forecasting models, dashboards, and planning systems with timely, accurate data • Prepare and communicate weekly and monthly forecast updates and planning insights to business stakeholders • Participate in S&OP processes and cross-functional planning meetings, presenting demand insights and risk scenarios Location: This is a remote role within the United States. We are currently able to hire team members who live in the following states: AL, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, IL, KY, MA, MI, NC, NM, OH, OR, PA, RI, TN, TX, and WI. • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency and experience using demand planning or ERP tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Kinaxis, Anaplan) • Solid understanding of forecasting methodologies, inventory planning, and core supply chain principles • Proven ability to analyze large data sets and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance • Effective communication, organization, and problem-solving skills • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field
