About the Job: We are seeking a reliable and skilled delivery truck driver to join our team at Sysco, a leading foodservice distribution company. As a delivery truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting and delivering products to various customers in a safe and timely manner. Job Summary: ? Deliver products within assigned routes and time windows, ensuring punctuality and efficiency. ? Unload products from trailers and store them in designated customer areas, handling weights of 1-75 pounds. ? Verify delivery details with customers, obtain signatures, and address any discrepancies or issues. ? Pick up damaged goods and complete necessary paperwork. ? Perform pre-trip and post-trip responsibilities, following Department of Transportation regulations and Sysco policies. Requirements and Qualifications: ? Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with a clean driving record. ? At least 2 years of local food or beverage delivery experience, preferably with pallet breakdown and hand cart delivery skills. ? High school diploma or general education degree (GED). ? Ability to work independently, meet productivity levels, and maintain ongoing inter-department communications.
