Data Scientist and Generative AI & Text-to-SQL

We’re seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our team and lead the development of cutting-edge AI solutions in Generative AI, Text-to-SQL, and intelligent document processing. Work set-up : Fully Remote Time zone : 1:00PM - 10:00PM Mon-Fri Experience required : 5 years minimum in Data Science with expertise in Generative AI & NLP Starting date : ASAP What You’ll Do 1. Generative AI Development & Integration Design, train, and fine-tune AI models for extracting and structuring data from documents. Build intelligent agents to automate user interactions and handle natural language queries. 2. Text-to-SQL & AI-Powered Data Processing Develop and optimize Text-to-SQL algorithms to convert natural language into efficient SQL queries. Enhance query interpretation using AI to support complex data requests. 3. Document Intelligence & Knowledge Discovery Create AI solutions to connect, index, and query structured and unstructured documents (Word, PDF, Excel). Integrate document insights into broader data ecosystems for seamless knowledge discovery. 4. AI Model Optimization & MLOps Deploy, monitor, and refine AI models using MLOps best practices. Continuously improve model performance, scalability, and reliability. 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work in an Agile SAFe environment with DevOps, Data, and Product teams. Provide AI expertise to support automation, deployment, and business alignment. Requirements What You Bring Technical Expertise: Generative AI & NLP : Proficiency with LLMs (GPT, Mistral, Claude, etc.), embeddings, and vector databases. Databases & SQL : Strong skills in Text-to-SQL, query optimization, and large-scale data handling. Document Processing : Experience with OCR, NLP-based extraction, semantic search, and indexing. MLOps : Hands-on with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines for AI deployment. Programming : Python (Langchain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face), SQL, FastAPI, REST APIs. Ideal Profile: 5+ years in Data Science, with a focus on Generative AI, NLP, and applied AI. Proven experience deploying AI models in production environments. Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to translate business needs into AI solutions. Experience working in Agile SAFe teams. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
