Job Summary Join us at the intersection of tech and culture. Our team runs like a startup inside the larger ComcastNBCU managing an internal data platform used by decision makers at every level. In this internship you’ll move quickly and your work will be highly visible. Lock down data quality, then dive into social, search, and fandom signals to spot the next big thing. Job Description Responsibilities • Guard the data: Run daily quality checks to keep datasets accurate, current, and reliable. • Chase the signal: Track title-level trends across multiple platforms covering search, social and fandoms including YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, Fandom, Wattpad, and more. • Surface what matters: Ensure data completeness across categories and titles. • Close the loop: Partner with engineers to feed your findings back into the platform. • Stay ahead: Keep a pulse on emerging media patterns to inform business decisions. Requirements • Tech-curious mindset and interests in data analysis at the audience/user level (no pro experience required). • Culture fluency in gaming/anime/TV/film or adjacent fandoms. • Detail obsession and the ability to work independently in a fast-moving team. • Education: Enrolled in Data Science, Media Studies, or related field (preferred, not required). Nice-to-haves • Platform familiarity (YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, Twitch, Fandom, Wattpad) is a plus. • Analytical chops and resourcefulness; experience with social analytics is helpful
