Customer Service Representative/Merchandiser

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support in a fast-paced retail environment. Your ability to communicate effectively and handle transactions accurately will be key to ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Duties
– Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services.
– Process sales transactions efficiently using cash registers or POS systems, ensuring accuracy in cash handling.
– Maintain knowledge of store promotions, products, and services to effectively sell and upsell items.
– Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels to ensure product availability.
– Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, striving for effective resolutions.
– Collaborate with team members to create a positive shopping experience for all customers.

Requirements
– Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred.
– Familiarity with cash registers, POS systems, and cash handling procedures is essential.
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective customer interaction.
