Content Strategists at Meta do more than write-they build and manage content systems, define big-picture strategies, and ensure content delivers value at scale. You will play a critical role in shaping how HR content is created, managed, and delivered to support intelligent, scalable, and personalized employee experiences at Meta. ensure that employees and People Operations partners have the right information at the right time-empowering Meta to win in a rapidly evolving, AI-native workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement content strategies that support organizational goals and user needs. This includes purposeful planning to deliver the right content at the right time and ensuring operational alignment across systems and teams.
Content Systems & Governance: Structure, govern, and surface content across platforms (e.g., CMS, AI assistants, HR documentation) to ensure consistency and scalability.
Writing: Work closely with subject matter experts to understand complex information and translate it into clear, concise, and engaging content. Write and edit a variety of content types for internal employee and HR audiences.
Content Management: Manage content directly in a Knowledge Management System, producing articles and other content that will display on one or more internal surfaces. Manage the information architecture and navigation of internal surfaces.
Standards & Best Practices: Create and maintain content standards, templates, and best practices to streamline content creation and management across teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders (program SMEs, product, engineering, design, etc.) to align content initiatives with business priorities and user journeys.
User Experience: Humanize user journeys, ensuring content is clear, accessible, and supports self-service and case deflection.
Scalable Impact: Optimize content for AI-readiness and reusability, enabling efficient self-service and measurable business results.
Content Optimization for AI: Ensure all content is formatted, labeled, and organized to support machine learning, natural language processing, and generative AI use cases (e.g., chatbots, search, automated help).
Automated Content Lifecycle Management: Leverage AI tools to monitor, update, and retire content, ensuring relevance and freshness at scale.
Must-Have Skills
1 Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and engaging content for diverse audiences
2 Experience collaborating with subject matter experts
3 Familiarity with metadata, structured data, and taxonomies for AI optimization
Nice-to-have Skills
1 Experience with benefits, compensation, health care, payroll, and related HR topics
2 Experience working with international partners across different time zones and cultures
3 Experience designing content systems for AI/ML applications (e.g., search, recommendation, conversational agents).
Years of Experience:
Proven experience (4 years) in content strategy, technical writing, or related editorial roles
Degrees/Certifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications or equivalent experience.
