I’m looking for a comedy writer with range - someone who can write short-form, hilarious ad scripts that feel native to TikTok and Reels, but still convert. Think: - POV skits - Deadpan testimonials - Infomercial spoofs - “This is too relatable” type humor Our agency works with consumer mobile apps across fitness, mental health, dating, finance, sleep, and more. The goal? UGC-style video ads that stop the scroll, make people laugh, and actually convert. Your job: - Pitch comedic ad concepts based on the app’s value prop - Write 15–45 second scripts tailored for UGC creators / actors - Collaborate with creators or editors when needed = Keep it funny, smart, and native - not cringe or “ad-y” You should be: - A legit comedy writer (or just freakishly good at writing funny stuff) - Deeply familiar with TikTok trends, meme culture, and creator-style humor - Able to balance humor with messaging (yes, we do need to sell the app) - Fast, collaborative, and easy to vibe with Bonus if you: - Have acting or creator experience yourself - Have ad writing experience or marketing background - Have an obsession with Eric Andre, Nathan Fielder, or @corporatenatalie (you get the vibe) Rate: Open to hourly or flat rate per script/concept. This could turn into a longer-term gig for the right person. To apply: Send me 2–3 examples of comedic video scripts, TikToks you’ve written/performed, or anything that proves your comedy chops. If you’ve never written an ad but you’re funny, prove it in the proposal. I’m listening. Thanks!!! Apply Job!
