Tesla Collision is seeking an energetic professional with a proven record of accomplishment of managing people and processes to work on one of the most progressive vehicle brands in the world. This role is pivotal in overseeing the pre-appointment process and ensuring our customers receive exceptional service from the moment they schedule an appointment until they drop off their vehicle. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the estimation process, and a commitment to delivering top-notch customer experiences. This position will be based in Ft Lauderdale, FL or Dublin, OH Responsibilities Department Leadership: Lead and manage the pre-appointment estimator team, ensuring high performance and adherence to company standards Process Optimization: Develop and implement efficient processes for customer communication, damage documentation, and parts coordination to enhance overall department efficiency Customer Service Excellence: Oversee customer interactions to ensure exceptional service, address any issues or escalations, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction Training and Development: Train, mentor, and support team members, providing ongoing guidance to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge Quality Control: Review and validate parts-only estimates prepared by team members to ensure accuracy and consistency Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including the collision managers and regional managers to facilitate communication Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze department performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned Requirements Professional experience: 5+ years of experience in management within the collision industry or relevant Certificate from Vocational School in Collision Repair preferred Solution oriented, demonstrating a high ability to identify root cause of problems and develop solutions. Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire team to achieve business targets Capable of self-managing and working independently in limited supervision environments.
