We are looking for an experienced cloud infrastructure consultant to draft a professional RFP and a structured vendor evaluation framework. This is a strategy + RFP preparation role, not implementation.
Your Work Will Include:
Draft a comprehensive RFP with:
Technical requirements (compute, networking, storage, databases)
Performance, scalability, availability, and security standards
Integration, monitoring, and management expectations
SLA and support requirements
Pricing and contract comparison guidance
Develop a vendor evaluation framework:
Scoring methodology for technical, financial, and operational criteria
Weighting and scoring guidelines
Optional vendor interview or proposal review process
Deliverables:
Complete RFP document ready for distribution
Evaluation matrix / scoring framework
Optional guidance for vendor interviews
Timeline: 3–5 weeks, milestone-based with progress updates
Ideal Candidate:
Experience creating RFPs or vendor selection processes for cloud infrastructure or IaaS platforms
Knowledge of compute, networking, storage, and database services
Understanding of SLA, security, scalability, and cloud performance metrics
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, or multi-cloud deployments
Startup or high-performance platform experience is a plus
