Role overview:
Our Sales team drives customer growth globally. They own their craft end-to-end, and help more financial institutions realize the value of Flagright. We are hiring a Business Development Team Lead in the US to scale Flagright’s outbound pipeline generation across North America.
This is a leadership role with high ownership. You will be responsible for leading and developing a team of BDRs, driving performance, and building a scalable, repeatable pipeline generation motion. You will set the strategy, establish best practices, and ensure consistent execution across the team.
You will operate with high autonomy in a fast-moving environment, oversee pipeline development, and travel to represent Flagright at customer meetings and industry events across North America.

Key responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of BDRs to consistently generate high-quality pipeline
- Own team-level pipeline targets and ensure strong coverage aligned to revenue goals
- Define and implement scalable outbound pipeline generation strategies
- Set the standard for outreach quality, messaging, activity levels, and conversion rates
- Monitor team performance, analyze metrics, and continuously optimize processes
- Support BDRs through call reviews, deal strategy, and day-to-day execution
- Collaborate with the GTM team to refine messaging, campaigns, and targeting
- Identify target segments, accounts, and personas to improve pipeline efficiency
- Maintain visibility into pipeline health and ensure accurate CRM tracking across the team
- Represent Flagright at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings across North America
Who we are looking for:
- 4+ years of B2B SaaS BDR experience
- Demonstrated progression into leadership or mentorship responsibilities
- Experience managing or mentoring BDRs and driving team performance
- Relevant industry knowledge in fintech, payments, banking, compliance, risk, or financial infrastructure, gained directly or through closely related roles
- Strong communicator — clear, concise, and confident
- Proven ability to develop and coach high-quality, personalized outreach strategies across a team
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment with shifting priorities
- Able to learn quickly and articulate complex products
- Willing and able to travel up to 30% of the time
- Based in Salt Lake City with right to work in the USA (visa sponsorship not available)
